2014 ~ My family and I just finished our seventh session, and second maternity session, with Mackie in the past four years. I swear every time we do a session, the photos turn out better than the last, even though I never think thats possible!
Mackie has shown a few teasers of the maternity session we just had and I am in complete awe of them. We went to Orcutt Ranch in the San Fernando Valley at 10 AM, hoping to beat the heat. Unfortunately, it was alread in the 90s when we got there. My husband and I were both hot and sweaty, and our already-full-of-sass almost 2 year old was putting up a good fight. As always, Mackie was patient with her and kept promising she got some really good shots. She always captures the best moments, but I thought this time would be tough between the heat and crankiness.
After all these years, I should know better than to doubt her! The few we've seen so far are beyond gorgeous. They are so beautiful, I honestly cannot even believe that they are OUR family pictures. They look like something out of a magazine with my familys faces on them.
We have photographs and canvases from the previous six sessions all over our house. I cannot wait to add these to our walls. I am already having trouble choosing which ones to frame vs canvas vs just put in an album and I've only seen 10 of them so far!
I wouldn't hesitate recommending her for a second. If you live a little far, she is more than worth the drive!
2013 ~ Mackie is truly the best photographer I have ever worked with. To say the least my husband was never too thrilled about getting pictures done the first time we used Mackie about 3 years ago. She was able to get him to smile in just about every picture - something previous photographers we used could never do!! To this day, I still cherish those photographs and have them framed all around our home.
Since then, we have used Mackie four more times and have truly loved the moments she has captured of our little family. This weekend, she will be photographing our daughter for the third time to commemorate her first birthday and I am so excited to see the amazing work she will do!!
Mackie is SO easy to work with, she is professional, has reasonable prices, and will do everything she needs to do in order to get the best shots!! You definitely will NOT have a single regret if you go with Mac Dore Photography!!

Due to my OCD "planner" personality, I found and booked Macdore Photography 6 months before my baby girl was born! Since I didn't want to take my newborn out of the house the first week she was home, she graciously agreed to come to my house since I lived close to her. What a beautiful experience!!! Our pictures were amazing! It took about an hour or so to take all the pictures, but everything went smoothly and our baby was so calm! I highly recommend Macdore for your newborn photos. The prints and CD were ready 1 week after the pictures were taken. Thanks again Macdore!!

2017 ~ I can't say anything negative about Mac Dore Photography aside from the fact that it is hard to choose what pics to keep SO I end up getting them all! 2014 ~ MacKenzie an absolute delight to work with! We were very familiar with her work, as she had done my sister's engagement and wedding, a portrait session for one of my closest friends, and my husband and I also had engagement shots with her. Her work is amazing! We still get compliments on our engagement pictures! After seeing how those pics came out, I was really looking forward to seeing what she could do for our special day and I was definitely not disappointed! We just got our pictures, and they came out WONDERFUL and AMAZING! I knew from the 3 sneak peak pics we had in the days following our wedding that they would be, but seeing the hundreds and hundreds of pics we got back, I was so excited! Looking through them with my husband was like reliving moments of our wedding day. They really captured all of the emotions of the day on film. I couldn't be happier with the results! The difficult part will be narrowing down and selecting a limited amount of pictures for our album and to display around our house. I would DEFINITELY recommend MacKenzie to anyone looking for a photographer for their wedding. It is well worth the investment!!

We were looking for a photographer for my son's Sr. Portraits. Mac Dore Photography came highly recommended. Our son is very shy and reserved and Mackenzie was so warm, kind and fun that she had him relaxed and posing comfortably in no time. We knew we wanted outside, but didn't know where and Mackenzie recommended a list of about 5 different local places and also said she would go somewhere else if we wanted. She recommended we bring a few outfit changes and props. We had a 30 minute session, four shirt changes, a dog and a guitar. She made it happen - and in a very casual, fun way. We never felt hurried and she was willing to try any of our suggestions as well as some really cool ones of her own. 2013 ~ My family and I were lucky enough to have Mackenzie in the Philadelphia area for a wedding and she graciously gave up her time to take pictures of us. MacKenzie did our wedding almost a year ago and our pictures could not have turned out any more perfect!! She was really great about taking requests on some shots i specifically wanted and they came out beyond beautiful!
